I am a long time reviewer on Trip Advisor and don't give a bad review for no reason. If this is true, then the ventilation is not adequate. We were told the ventilation in the casino area is good and smoking is not a problem. (wonder what would happen is someone decided to light up a cigarette there). Also we are non-smokers and have a hard time walking thru the casino area because of all the smoke. This is the last time we will waste our money on a show at the Four Winds. Venues in New York City, Chicago and Vegas enforce the rules so that everyone that pays for a ticket is able to enjoy the show. The rude and inconsiderate behavior of some concert goers offended us, but the 'I don't give a dam' attitude of security is not acceptable. Until the law is enforced (it is illegal to video tape a performers show) this will continue and other people will not be able to enjoy the show they paid good money (several hundred dollars) to see. I know people take pictures and videos of concerts all the time.

This is simply not believable because the room is dark and the phones are lit up. When we spoke to the young man who worked for security he first denied his responsibility to enforce the announcements then claimed he saw no one recording the show. After the show we spoke to an usher who told us we should have gotten security. We repeatedly asked these people to stop and they yelled at us. There were 2 announcements at the beginning of the show telling people that the use of cell phones or video taping the show is not allowed.

Johnny Mathis was wonderful and the concert was going along when 4 people in front of us started video taping the show and holding up their cell phones and I-pad so I (and people around and behind us) could not see the stage for the light of the phone and the height of it.

My husband and I attended the Johnny Mathis concert at Silver Creek event center in Four Winds Casino in New Buffalo.
